On the television -- Fox channel, I believe? -- there is an overwhelming amount of Ashton Kutcher movies on. Overwhelming as in two, but it's him, so you can only take so much. Not only that, but That 70's Show I had just previously gotten done watching because realizing he was going to be on again.

It made me wonder; what happened to him? It's been what seems like years since I last heard about dear Ashton. I remember when you would go in every store and see a "Mrs. Ashton Kutcher" hat in bulk.

Then, I didn't even realize he was in What Happens in Vegas, though I have watched the movie. Shockingly, I don't remember most of it, for it just really wasn't one of his better movies. I guess this is why it slipped my mind.

I never was a big fan of Ashton. He's funny, but I much more prefer good ol' Hugh Laurie in all his acting glory. Though most people know him from House M.D., very few people believe when I mention he played the role of the dad in Stuart Little. Sure, that movie was released nine years ago, but I very much remember beloved Hugh Laurie. He's gotten a big more gruff since then, which personally has added to his charm.

That's like people not realizing he was Jasper in 101 Dalmations. Again, he was very much gruff in that movie. Hard to tell it was him, but then again, his face has a distinct shape. Perhaps I just can't stop myself from being able to point him out, but it is a nice surprise when people notice these small details.

Trivia Question - From Stepford Wives : "No crime, no poverty, no ______."

    <lj:music>Cricket Chirping -- Ugh</lj:music>

Lately -- though this has always been a concern -- it seems all my friends are getting in relationships. Any other time this wouldn't be bad, but they're getting obsessively involved with their so-called 'loves'. Ditching friends, constant talking of them, planning the ages they'd be getting engaged and married.

I believe you can find love at any given age. Perhaps not five, but you do end up finding and experiencing different forms of the word.

However, it seems everyone is not realizing that this behaviour is both unhealthy and almost a form of abuse. Mental abuse, if you will. I know one girl in particular who gets mad if her 'boyfriend' so much as speaks to another girl. However, she may like and speak to anyone who she chooses.

I know very well this is something everyone goes through. Posted in journals throughout history. We live in a day of hypocrites, young 'love', and a time where books like Twilight show stalking your loved one is perfectly acceptable.

It never occurred to me until I was calling someone I knew a crude word that relationships at my school are nothing more than some weird form of obsession. We talk about a guy for weeks. We know what he wore, when he wore it, his daily schedule by heart. He does one little thing that we find not perfect, it's over. Hearts are fickle, but that's just insane.

How much time a day do people waste thinking about one particular person? It feels like almost most. Why concentrate in class when you can be picking out your next outfit to impress him/her? Homework? But our hair must be perfect. Amazingly, I hear those excuses quite a bit.

So, are we driven by a desperate want to get someone acceptable to like us?

P.S. The larger font at the beginning is meant to be that way. I'm a bit odd when it comes to my formatting.

I believe it is time to introduce myself in some odd way. Why I'd do this on my own journal, I'll never understand, but maybe it needs to get to know me.

I am Everything.

Not in reality, though. I'm a writer, an artist, a gamer, and a sarcastic girl.

I shall name this journal - what journal doesn't have a name? - Crimmy.

Crimmy is short for Crimson.

Crimson is a good colour, don't you think?

Crimson Butterfly; a Fatal Frame reference.

Crimson Rose; I'm not sure where that's from, but it sounds cool.

Crimson...well, it doesn't matter why. I just am a bit tired and sick, so therefore this is a bit of something to cheer me up.
